Thoughts.com Blogs - Washington D.C. here I go!!

So yesterday was once again an amazing day despite our few difficuties that we had. Washington D. C. was amazing! I had went there about 6 years ago, but now that I am older, and can appreciate it more. I felt so good being there, and met a lady who worked in the Department of labor who was a friend of my boyfriends.We could't find a parking place anywhere half the time so we parked in places that we shouldn't have. While in rush hour and in the midst of trying to find a place to park, I was in the process of taking a picture of the Washington Monument,( without my seatbelt, hanging out of the sunroof of my boyfriends, brothers car) well, we got pulled over. The officer was very mean to us, but in the end, I am pleased to say that we did NOT get a ticket. We left, but didn't want to. Fall seemed so much different there. I am not quite used to big cities, being a counry girl. I have to admit though, the fall seems to be still as amazing there as it is here. On the way back about an hour from home, we ended up having a flat tire. We got it fixed though, and went on our way. Someday soon, I WILL return.
