No I am not talking about hookers!
I am talking about the women in shops to be specific. The sweat covered, hair up in a bun, bruises on their arms and legs, T-shirt and blue jean wearing, working for a living women.
First of all this is not slamming or belittling the stay at home, office girls, heath care workers, restaurant people or anyone else Women in all fields work there ass off and have totally different issues they face everyday. I just happen to see on a daily basis shop women and felt like blogging about what I have observed in my fifteen plus years of working in a shop.
Shop women # 1: The Old Timer Lady--- The old timer lady has been in the shop she works since before it had walls. She knows everything going on both work related and personal with everything and everyone in the shop. She can cuss with any sailor, out work any man and is never wrong unless she wants to be. She hates all other women in the shop except for a few of the other old timer ladies and most of the men can suck on her right tit, they are worthless. That is until someone is sick, hurt or has family issues. She and the other old timer ladies at the point of some in trouble rally up and get cards sent out, money raised, food made and let supervisors know to take it easy on the person suffering or that poor supervisor will be getting a ear full on a daily basis for the next year.
After my divorce the old timer ladies fed me dinner for a good few months. I would always bring a cup of Ramon Noodles for dinner (2nd shift) but ate whatever left overs from whoever's house that was made the day before. The old timer ladies got a special place in my heart for that.
Shop women # 2: Cougar Claws--- Shes been around the shop for at least five years. She does a good job at what she has too. She bitchs a lot about management and work load but comes in everyday and doeas her job anyway. She does not do much else. Most of the time she is a flirt. Sometimes a bit more. She is friends with all the guys and none of the the old timer ladies. Half of them form a click that spreads across all three shifts and will do what they can to screw with any new young good looking girl that seems to actually be working out. The other half just hang their job security on hard work, lots of flirt and at times a little more.
I can tell you as an supervisor these are the hardest women to supervise. The click half chase off good workers and start all sorts of drama. The other half are always becoming a distraction for your key men as it is those guys that get flirted with and sometimes more. They are always bitching.
Shop women # 3: Young Tail--- Three sub groups here.
Group one is the young wife. She works hard most of the time. Doesn't talk with many people. She is the eight hours and out the door type. Most of the time she does great for a year or two and just stops coming into work one day. What happened to her. H.R. says she just wont return a call. Someone will bump into her at Walmart and tell you she got a better job or is pregnant within a few months after she quits.
Group two is the young whore. She does not want to be a drug addict, alcoholic, slut so she works in a shop but in the end she is destine to be a stripper. She wants to go out and party with anyone and everyone from work every weekend. She ends up sleeping with one of your key men or women. She will work out, sort of, for a few months but work gets in the way of drinking, drug binges and parting so she quits or gets fired for missing to much work. She might not make it through the first week though.
Group three is the next generation. She is never a hot chick. She is not ugly either. She looks like she hates life even when she smiles though. She talks with most people at work and bust's her ass. She doesn't flirt. She makes a few good friends that are like her or maybe one of the young whores at first. She is willing to do what it takes to keep her job. She needs it. She wont be going anywhere anytime soon. She will move up to be shop women #1 and #2.
Well that's a little insight into what I see in the women that work in shops. I am sure it doesn't cover them all but it is the majority from what I can tell.
