The coasting/gliding/flying sea gulls were a sight to behold.
Whilst riding a ferry on the Puget Sound the gulls hung right along with the ferry. Passengers would toss up corn chips at the gulls. The gulls caught each chip with eaze. They were a talented buch.
There should be some kind of talent/contest thing for the sea gull that catches the most corn chips in a 5 minute span of time. It would be quite a spectacle.

If we fed the gulls during season, we would get a $50 fine, and cussed at by the other beachcomers! I love the beach, and you made me homesick just reading this post! Seagulls are amazing creatures.

Thank you for that comment tech4Him. I guess the guvment in our area isn't concerned with feeding wildlife. We have an abundance of sea gulls around here. Even in downtown Seattle on the waterfront when I've been there people give food to the sea gulls.

You brought me back. I' have taken the ferry from Bremerton to Seattle so many times. Those gulls are pretty resourceful.

I too appreciate gulls.
Some people call them scavingers.
I appreciate their beauty.
God doesn't make mistakes :)
