 Relationships
Men & women struggle to understand each other.

In my own relationship with my husband I struggle to understand.

I've read books that tell what men are like, and also what women are like; we're wired differently. Sometimes the things I've seen and read are presented humorously. The thing is it's not really humorous. These differences have caused relationships to break up, have pain and depression.

The thing I find is that the biggest issue of all is communication. Men & women have different communication styles even. All I ask for is that he open his mouth and tell me stuff instead of barking out commands. I'm not a dog!

My husband was leaving for work and he just happened to see that my right front tire was low. He barked at me to take it to the tire place. What's so wrong with suggesting it would be a good idea to stop by and have them look at it instead barking out to take it to the tire place?

I'm a fairly laid back kind of person. Although, I'm a no non sense kind of person also. I like to get to the point. However, I don't bark out commands at people to do stuff.

Most of the time I can go with the flow. I just do not like being treated like a dog and barked to do stuff. I can get stuff done.

One other thing he does is wait to the last minute to tell me he's going to do something. Like for instance; last night I was going to be home in about 30 minutes. He sends me a text msg on my mobile phone and says he's going for a motorcycle ride. He's usually gone for hours when he does that. Well, I immediately responded to the text msg to get some more info. Well, it was too late, he'd already took off on the bike and wasn't. I couldn't reach him for anything. So, hours afterward he decides to stop for gas. He checks his mobile phone and sees I replied. He responded he was on his way home. So, he calls me from some fast food joint close to our place.

All very strange in my book. Had me worried he was upset with me and just needed to get away and think. He didn't act bothered at all when he came in.
