Yesterday & today I encountered some people who engaged in a heated, hostile & angry exchange of messages on a public forum online toward & about me. Imagine that, little o' me.
Several of those people decided immediately upon seeing the title of the post I created to be mad at me.
Now, if they would have just read the entire thing and took it into context none of this would have taken place.
Then all of a sudden a bunch of people created spin off posts/threads of what I posted; only they were derogatory. The moderators & admins of the forum quickly locked all those threads and deleted them or something because the threads disappeared.
There was one post, however, that was not locked. Today several people have been flaming on it about me. Many not using my forum nickname, but you can tell they're talking about me. There's a few on there that have been defending me.
It amazes me how so many people take things out of context and get all worked up over something.
I've learned to have a thick skin and take a lot of stuff with a grain of salt.
It would do those who don't have thick skin to develop it. I believe a great deal of life would be much easier. Life is too short. Don't sweat the small stuff. In the end, it will have not mattered much anyway.
Thank God for HIS awesomeness to see us through the tough things.

He will see you through. That is the downside to written word, it isn't always written or taken as it is meant. I'm sad to hear of yet another occurance where people fail to read what is truly being said, and as a result people are hurt. God is awesome, he can work good through this situation. I can do all things ... great!
