Great poem from a beautiful heart. I'm sorry someone hurt you without regard for the beautiful person you must truly be. Life can be so dark. If you get a chance, read this story from The Bible. I don't want to preach to you, or give you advice, as though I somehow know how you feel. I have never faced anything like this. However, I think it might help you to know how Scripture says God feels when we hurt. John 11: 17-35.

Hang in there. We all go through difficult trial. Life is so daily and things come and go. A very wise man once said life is best lived one day at a time.
Focus on the positives in your life, like the unique way you have of making others feel special and wanted. Keep searching. Don't give up and you will find the strength and special beauty that you bring to this world. As for your parents. We can't choose our parents, but we can choose our way. Keep moving forward. You are going to make it.

Swim Suits on 2008-04-29 16:31:01 |

There is good logic for both sides of this debate. I personally don't like to see "fat" people or pregnant people in two piece bathing suits. However, I do think they have the right to don such. Once they do, they open themselves up for comments of all sorts, and rightfully so. I don't think that they should be offended that I don't necessarily agree with their choice. There are creative ways to hide fat if it is a sensitive issue. Once you expose it blazingly, I think the sensitivities need to be shelved. That being said, I try to be more sensitive anyway and find a way to make as many people as possible feel accepted. It's not always easy, but I think it's the right direction. We are all a strange lot and we need to find ways to embrace our differences without ignoring them. Personally, I prefer two piece suits be worn only by hot bodies.

I wish I could reach you and touch your need in a real way that truly healed and met your true soul. Keep searching. Don't give up. Don't settle for the answers you are embracing right now. You've come this far, keep pushing. Keep trying. Your answer is there.
