| As if I had anything to do with it. |
How were you born? I mean, how did you come out? White, black, Asian, short, fat, straight, gay, etc? What choice did you have in the matter? Do you remember seeing any road signs along the vaginal pass that gave you a choice of eye color, skin color, etc? Not me. So, why all the hoopla about how we come out. That's just the way it is. Weather you're a believer in "Intelligent Creation" or a member of the big bang society, here you are the way you are. The question now is, what are you going to do about it or with it?
Just the other day we have the newly appointed Attorney General say we American's are "Racial Cowards." I suppose that was primarily aimed at me, or others like me that were born white Americans. It seems we just might be the problem for all of the world. We are the reason the Muslims are so fired up. We are the reasons the Indians and Mexicans and Blacks have been suppressed. We may be the reason they were born that way for all I know.
Now before you go getting all puffed up with me, give me a chance to share a little frustration of my own. I have never owned a single slave. I have never pushed my will on a single Arab. I have never put down a single Asian. And yet I have people in each persuasion coming at me from all angles with their fist in the air wanting me to pay for my "whitness."
I am a big believer that God is. I believe He alone chooses our race and the place of our birth. He chooses our parents and through His chosen method, our gender and other distinctions. So, if you're truly ticked off, tell Him about it. But before you do, ask Him what He had in mind in your case. I believe that He loves you the way you are and only He can make you all that He intended you to be. I believe that He can put you and I together and accomplish more than we ever dreamed, if only we'll let Him guide us and lead the way.
He tell us, in the Holy Scriptures that "love conquers all." I am not your enemy. Let's unite and together find out what He had in mind. Let's love, forgive, heal, and live. We won't be able to do it without Him. This is my attempt to get it started. Let me hear back from you on this.
