Symbiosis in the Capitalist Corporate Structure
A well-respected dentists association agrees to approve a brand of breath-freshening chewing gum.
They are well paid for the right to use their recommendation.
Of course, dentists themselves have an interest in keeping the mouths of all their patients that much cleaner and fresher smelling. And the chewing gum company makes a lot more because it has the recommendation than what it paid to the dentist association.

Thats a Pareto improvement if I ever saw one.

~The Late Adolescent (who's off to the dentist's right now. Chewing gum.)

Its also a pareto improvement for me because I'm benefitting fromthe gum so my breath doesnt smell like smoke.

Yay!
