My dad was able to come home today...
You have no idea what it means to have your father able to come home from a nursing home when you have almost lost him a few weeks ago from a seizure and stroke...he now has heart problems and prostate cancer and a huge fight against him but he is home..He is so happy to be in his own home and I am so happy he was able to stay home and not be in the nursing home tonight...I slept some nights with my cell phone in my hand as he would call me day and night...we are so close it is so hard to see him suffer...I have watched my husband suffer and now my dad...He has been my rock and now he will never drive and so many health problems but we still have him hear for now...make sure you give your parents a hug as you never know what tomorrow may bring..I love you Dad!  hugs, cheryl

It is wonderful that he is home.
Show him your love while you can.
I lost my Dad suddenly, more than thirteen years ago. He was killed by robbers, There was no chance to say goodbye. The last time I saw him,we went together to see my childhood home, and he tapped on the door. The owners graciously allowed us inside to see it. I hugged him when he left. At least I have a good last memory of him.
