| C-pap machines...my new bed partner! |
|
My new bed partner is a little machine sitting next to my bed with a hose that connects to your nose and blows air into you nose and you must keep your mouth closed while you sleep! Well, if you are a mouth sleeper this is not an easy task...please tell me you do get use to this machine...I know I have to use it as I am exhausted and I do not go into REM sleep and have sleep apnea...I want to feel better but hopefully the nights will get better! I give eveyone credit that has to use these machines...my husband has a bi-pap has he has Central sleep apnea and that is the worst as his brain will quit telling him to breath almost 100 times a night...this all happened after his nightmare of events...then having to take so many medications to keep going do not help...
I now have more compassion for what he has had to go through...I guess that is like life..many of us judge people when we do not know what it would be like to walk a day in their shoes...it puts a new perspective on life if before we ever judged, we had to go through the same trials as they are, we would have more sympathy...or more compassion..Hopefully you do not have to have one of these lovely bed partners...hugs, cheryl

"I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. I will not refuse to do the something I can do."

"The majority of us lead quiet, unheralded lives as we pass through this world. There will most likely be no ticker-tape parades for us, no monuments created in our honor.
But that does not lessen our possible impact, for there are scores of people waiting for someone just like us to come along; people who will appreciate our compassion, our unique talents. Someone who will live a happier life merely because we took the time to share what we had to give.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have a potential to turn a life around. It's overwhelming to consider the continuous opportunities there are to make our love felt."
