Day 1

Tonight is my first night in the shelter. However, I am nowhere near sad because the minute I came in there was an emergency meeting in reference to closing the shelter down. The pastor decided that enough was enough and she couldn't handle whatever drama that I'm glad I missed anymore. She will be placing me in a new shelter with private rooms thank goodness! Also, she wants me to work with her typing up grants. The only issue is that I need to develop speed in the typing area. I'm learning to type tomorrow. She may have the program and if not, i will be ordering one tomorrow morning. I will practice all day everyday. I'm always speed learning something at the last minute. Should have enhanced all those skills while I've been unemployed. I look forward to starting the day tomorrow especially after knowing that i will be out of this place no later than Friday. I'm gonna win this battle just watch and see. I have a weak but decent signal here so I will be sure to write everyday about my experiences.
