Well it has finally hit home. I lost my job because of layoffs. Gas, daycare and increasing prices on everything is actually making this a positive that I am unemployeed. But it is hard to make your head understand that it is not a failure or a set back. Just a change. When you are so used to getting up and shuffling the kids to school and daycare and getting to you desk at an appointed hour it's hard. Can't get rid of that discconnected feeling. I didn't fail. I didn't fail.

hi there...
yes, it is a difficult adjustment for sure...i was unemployed for practically a year...and it can wreak havoc with your mental state...
i think it's a bit like falling off your bike though - gotta get up and get going and being productive or you can end up in a bad state of mind.
good luck with getting back to work...
