Dear Sweetheart,

 Tomorrow I will be telling you that I am in love with you. I suspect that you have suspected that for a long time. But I think it is time it was said. Under different circumstances I certainly would have told you much sooner and much more often. For I have been in love with you for longer than I have even known.

 I would have told you the first time I felt it but you know how much our relationship means to me and I didn't want to take a chance on hurting that relationship. I would love for our relationship to grow romantically, but if it doesn't I hope we can still have what we have now.

 We both know this will be complicated if we pursue this and in a lot of ways I'm afraid I am putting you in an impossible situation. I want your life to be easy and I seem to be making it hard. But darling I know I could make you happier than any other man ever will. I have never felt about anyone the way I feel about you.

 With that said, if you decide you don't feel the same or that the consequences just aren't worth the rewards, I'll still be there for you. When I said I loved you unconditionally, I meant it. I'm whatever you need me to be and you will never owe me anything. My heart will always be with you.

See you in the morning when my heart will be pounding, my mouth will be dry and my words will be more honest than any I have ever spoken before. Until then I dream of you.
