I haven't written about N in a while. I think I should. I love her as much as ever. She is everything I have ever wanted. That won't change.
Tonight I spent a wonderful evening with her and the baby. We went to dinner, watched a couple of movies and talked. There was no sex, but there didn't need to be. There is a connection that is unlike anything I have ever felt. It's always there and I'm always amazed by it.
Sure it would be great if there was a clear path for a romantic relationship. I can't help but think what it would be like if I wasn't married to her mother and we had just met at some bar or party. I know we would have been just as drawn to each other.
I've never been this close to another human being and nothing else matters. Am I setting myself up for heartbreak? Maybe. So what? Making myself happy is not the point of being in love with her. Making her happy is the point. Let the chips fall where they may, because love ain't easy and I ain't quitting.

Love worth having is seldom easy. Its having to fight for it, struggle for it, wait for it even, that makes it so precious.
I hope you get everything your heart desires one day. Sometimes it takes a while for things to work out, but if they're meant...they will.
Clearly you're a nice guy, and so you deserve something good to happen. Savour every moment that means something to you. I too wish you the best.
