Give Me My Computer or Give Me Death!
After more than a week without my computer, my baby is back!!!!

Early last week my computer began restarting by itself. I figured the processor was overheating so I bought one of those cans of air (I can't believe some of the things I pay money for) and sprayed out all the dust. Back on with the cover and 15 minutes later the computer was restarting on its own again. My baby was sick.

Luckily I know a good computer doctor and into the hospital...er, repair shop....the computer went on Monday. I anxiously waited until Tuesday to call and check on her. The news wasn't good. It could be the motherboard gone bad....the equivalent of the heart. The doctor said he would call back.

I held off calling again until Wednesday. The doctor gave me a cryptic, "I'm waiting to call you when I have some good news." What the hell does that mean?

In the meanwhile, I have no music, I can't write checks, I can't order medicine and I can't blog!!! And how in the hell do you play cards without a computer???? I can't remember!!!

By Thursday I was feeling more than a little wired. Another call to the doctor. He promises to call before I go to work. He doesn't. When I get home Friday morning, however, the good news is there! My baby is fixed and better than ever!

Yes!! No more of this caveman existence for me!! You can keep the DVD player, the color television, even the automatic transmission vehicles. Just don't take away my computer!

I agree! It must have been such a hard week, did you take any hard drives while you waited, or go to the Keys for vacation, or, did the stress of it all destroy your memory? Im glad you are back on line, its horrible to be at the end of the line, or worse, frozen off line!
