It's good that you and your mom could talk like that. I could never talk to my mom like that and we left a lot of things unsettled. Be your own person. I'm sure your mom will love you just the same.

That is the rudest thing I have ever heard of a guy doing to a woman. I had to read it twice to make sure I read it right the first time. And then he apologized? What a bonehead! Men can be pretty bad (and I'm a man) but that's a new level. Have hope.

Did you ever see the movie "Flatliners?" It is a story about kids who had a fascination with seeing the other side. We are indeed a curious breed.
