I used to wake up to the radio playing. And whatever song was on at that time, would be stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Sometimes it was okay if it was a song I knew and liked, but more often than not, it was a song I hated or had never heard. And that was just annoying!! When you don't know a song and its stuck in your head all day ad you realise about lunch time that you only know the two lines you heard before you switched off the radio.

I don't wake up to the radio anymore. It got to a point where the songs would blend into my dreams and I would sleep in. Now I wake up to the alarm built into my phone. An annoying beep beep beep that gets louder when you don't turn it off.

But now I have a new problem. I wake up with a song in my head that I haven't heard for years. Sometimes good. But Its usually been so long since I heard it I have to search for the CD or on my Ipod to hear it properly. And thats just as bad a sleeping in!!

For the last week or so, I have had Freak by Silverchair in my head. Love that song!! Then I get Miss You Love and Staight Lines stuck in there as well. Then they all mix up and its one weird song I've got going round and round in my head!!

But thinking about Silverchair, how much has their music changed?? They were the rebellious hard rock teenagers from Newcastle, but as they got older and left school, their music got softer and softer. I'm still a big fan, but sometimes I miss their Frogstomp music. And I seriously didn't even recognise Straight Lines as a Silverchair song when it first came out!!

I got Teenagers by Chemical Romance in there now so I'm gona go find it and play it.
