I've mentioned him many times in my posts. The love of my life, the one I want to marry, the one who makes me feel good about myself.

I think he is the most gorgeous person in the world. Both inside and out. When I was younger and sillier, I wrote a list of what I wanted in my 'perfect guy'. On this list was physical attributes along with some personaliy traits. I was only thinking about this the other day. You know what? He is most of them. Deep brown eyes, brown hair, funny, sweet, thoughtful, great laugh, fun to be around..... many things.

He has a couple flaws, but everyone does. He has been married and is separated from her (you may remember - the Dreaded Ex) and he has a little girl who turns 5 on Christmas Eve. She isn't a flaw though. He likes to drink and to play the pokies sometimes, and I've tried to stop him but he works away a lot so its hard to keep an eye on him. He rang me the other night, cranky with himself coz he lost a lot of money. He said he hated himself for it. What do you say to someone you love when they say they hate themselves? It broke my heart.

He is a great father, only stumped by the horrible ex who won't stay consistent with custody. Whenever he is home, he calls them up to see if he can visit his little girl B, but the ex says no, she has plans. Then will call him a week later and abuse him for not trying to see B. When we first got together, he was allowed to have B come round to our place or go down town without the ex anywhere around. Now she has changed her mind and says he can only see B if he goes round to her house and sits there while listening to her bitch about me or go down town with them both. Its very frustrating for him. I see how good a father he is, but I wouldn't be suprised of he never wants another kid, if this is how he thinks it will be...

He is very good with his hands. He likes to build things, and fix things, the only thing is he hasn't finished much. He bought a couple utes to fix up, but after dismantling them for parts, he hasn't gotten around to putting them back together!! He has decided, with a heavy heart, to sell them to a guy up the paddock who does up utes and is always after parts. He started a back deck, a huge entertaining area, before we met and still hasn't finished it. It has a roof now, and all it needs is some paint and the floor to be sanded back.....

He is a beautiful person. He gets lonely sometimes, coz he says he lost many friends while with the ex. he has a good mate from work, that is crazy fun to be around and I often try to get him to catch up with him. But coz he is away a lot when he comes homes, he says he wants to spend some time with me. This guy, Spanky is his nickname ( I don't want to know how he got it) is very energetic and loves doing crazy things. you have to have to be up for some fun when you catch up with him. So I understand where my boy is coming from sometimes. He just wants to relax.

He gets along great with my family. When he met my parents, a week after we met, my dad was little distant around him. You know, his little girl meeting a guy - Dads are always protective. But he eventually warmed to him. My mum and him are always teasing each other and pulling jokes on each other, and my dad can sit and drink and talk about footy with him.

I logged on to write so much about my boy, to give you an insight of what he is like and why I love him so much, but I can't seem to find the right words to do it.  So I might just leave it here. I feel so lucky to have found him....
