Kaos brought up a good point in one her recent posts - boys and their pants. Why do they feel the need to buy jeans that are about 10 sizes too big for them and show off their boxers to the world? Its not attractive. Its not cool. I don't get it.
One of my friends, was with a guy who wore this fashion. At a party of theirs once, I was surrounded by 19-20 year old boys who all looked like their pants were about to fall down. Sitting like an outcast at one point (I was one of the oldest people there and only knew my friend) I was observing this phenomeon. Skinny boys with pants that were 10 sizes too big, sitting just below their arse, held up with a belt (?) and satin boxer shorts in a variety of colours. After a while I asked one of these boys, in a rather intoxicated state, how they stay up and why they wore their pants like that. The response? Its cool and not sure how they stayed up, they just did. Must be the belt.
Now cotton boxers may be a little different - the jeans have something to hold onto, but its the satin ones that bewilder me. The jeans should just slide ride down coz everything slips off satin!! To do this day, I still don't get it!!
Another point of boy fashion these days is the hair. I don't know if it is just here in this hole of a town I live in, but boys are sporting wild frizzy curly afros. Or shaggy hair. Its not attractive. It looks silly. Think Supernatural with Dean and Sam. I like Dean with the short clean cut sexy hair. Don't like Sam with the shaggy hair. Now imagine Sams hair, a lot longer and oilier and you've got half the boys in my town. Then imagine Guy Sebastion from Aus Idol with the afro before he cut it and theres the other half.
I just don't get fashion these days. I won't get started on girl fashion.....

Their pants must truly defy gravity. Only that could explain how they stay up.
