I just got home from work. I'm so angry and pissed off and upset. I've been working at the same place for 4&1/2 years. I'm good at what I do, I work hard, the guys tell me I hold the place together. And I've just been given a months notice, if I don't show up for work tomorrow morning.

My job is a weekday job - office chick for a courier company that only opens Mon-Fri. Supposed to be nine to five, but as it has ended up, its 7.30am to 5.30pm. I have a wedding to go to tomorrow and my boss wants me to go ino work. I told him I couldn't because I have the wedding to go to and he told me if I don't show up, I'll have my job for a month and then no more. A month only coz its nearly christmas and we deliver those christmas hampers and it's really busy for the next month or so.

I don't think he has the right to do this to me. And I still can't go in tomorrow, coz I'm still going to go to my friends wedding. Do you think I'm being unreasonable?

I have so many more feelings about this situation but my vision is going a bit blurry from the tears. Sorry.
