| Facing Your Giants In Life....

How are you facing the giants in your life? We all have times in our journey here on earth when we are facing struggles, challenges, tough decisions, and hurts. And it seems when the going gets tough, anything and everything causes us to quit.
When we hit a bump in the road of life, like a time when we are challenged with a problem, or we are facing the giants that come before us, why is it so easy to bail out on our faith, and lose focus of our spiritual direction?
It is not easy facing our giants and yet, still remain in tune with the rhythm of life, living each day with passion and purpose. But there are reasons why we get to the edge, we get to the brink of facing our giants, and we reach those times when we quit, and fall short of walking in the life that God intends for us.
Sometimes the Christian Life is referred to as a walk, but most of the time it seems as though we are in a race for life. And there are some keys to running the race of faith, rather than running away from facing the giants in our life.
It is very important that we are fit, so we may run with endurance the race that is set before us. And it will be different for each and every one of us, when we are facing our giants.
I may not be able to run your race, or I may not have what it takes to face the giants that you face, but you do! Have you heard of the term F.R.O.G., which stands for Fully Rely On God? When we run the race that is set before us, fully relying on God, he then gives us the saving grace, and strength for facing the giants in our life.
God loves us! But he also disciplines us with a purpose. God shakes things up to get our attention. So when the times come when we are facing the giants he puts before us, we will stop, and drop to our knees, bringing us to trust and commit ourselves to him.
Our continued spiritual growth is so vital to our life of faith and piety. We need to constantly focus on Jesus, and be totally absorbed in him, for Jesus is the perfecter of faith.
And when we are running the race properly, and see others facing their giants, we can bring words of encouragement for that person to keep running towards God!
So today and always, stand strong in your faith, for God has the power to change your life! And when facing the giants, you will be running a race of victory, and living a life with purpose and passion!

Amen, sister! This was a super post and so true! Facing giants...I hope I faced most of my Goliaths last year, but if I haven't, I am armed and dangerous! With a frying pan and my Bible!
