I meditated in the personal presence of the Dalai Lama back in the 70s and was told I would reach enliightenment in this lifetime. My friend Helen Antoniak and I went when he came to San Diego. It was back before it was fashionable and only about 100 people could be bothered to show up though it was open to the public. Imagine what it would be like today. Helen and I were way ahead of the times.

He always seems serene and happy...I like him a lot and would like to meet him someday...he has been to Toronto and of course there was a huge crowd that came to hear him....
