Welcome to my world. Let's begin with our tour.
First, there's my house. With carpet grass growing oh so lush, and trees which names I dont know. The garage, the clothes liner and the usual.
As we come in the door, we can see a bunch of fake flowers given my my neighbours as a welcome gift years and years ago.
We can also see my younger brother J's skate board on the floor plied against some shoe boxes.
Soon, we'll reach my living room. With a tv on the small coffee table that used to be upstairs, we can see shelves filled with surverniers from Australia etc.
One of my fav would be the wooden boomerang we bought. And those glass made eggs we bought in Langkawi. I remembered that I chose the pearl white one....:)
I have another coffee table, piled with comic books and magazines. And a couch in the middle. Paintings of caligraphy hangs from the walls of the living room.
A beautiful, half transparent glass stuck to the wall was craved with the wavery lines of the rolling waves, with a deep blue at the edge.
Step up again to see my dining room. A wooden table with chairs, a dark brown piano at the corner. A basket of fruits still uneaten after the neighbours gave it to us a few days ago. Another glass picture of five koi fishes.
Step into the kitchen, saperated into halves as the first one we call it the dry kitchen, the next one would be the wet kitchen. The dry kitchen is small but neat, with a boiler, bottles of water and a cabinet full of mom's favourite pottery. Next would be the place us kids hid our snacks. We hide it under some other snacks that nobody seems to notice, and look up to see another cabinet full with wine glasses, (although nobody uses it)
The wet kitchen is filled with the fridge, the stove, basins etc. My memory of the wet kitchen would be when I chased my brother down the kitchen. And as the floor was wet, he slipped. I stopped just in time too.
Let's go up the stairs. While you're going up, look up to see this kinda ceramic painting on the ceiling, it's really more like something you get in some churches at the ceiling. I don't know what's it called. Let's take a peek into my room. Blue curtains, blue build in drawers and a small table with a mirror. Another table would be for doing my homework, where papers scatter everywhere. Two single beds and a small blue bathroom.
Next is my parents' room. They have the biggest room. The room has a double queen sized bed, some build in drawers and cupboards in a light brown, a used to be lucky draw gift of a massaging chair which broke (how cheap) and a small tv we won. The bathroom has the biggest bathtub and the coolest mirrors.
My brother Y's room would be next to mine. He would usually be in his room playing the laptop, which is MINE. His room would be draped with curtains featuring basketball players, car posters and a computer desk without a computer. He's got this so beautiful wooden bookshelf for his books, which made me jealous. His bathroom is connected to the other sitting room.
And we have the computer room, where glass paned doors open to a boucany. Here we have the really low wooden coffee table, stacked with papers and a telephone and a fax machine, two white couches with a lamp in the middle.
That ends our tour of my house, also known as, my world. |
