Yesterday, i had a project wherein i had made a presentation.The leader of my group for the project told me not to worry since i looked like i was going to faint any moment! The thing is,I was really p**sed off because i had requested for someone to accompany me as i started the presentation.No one had really listened.One last detail,which i had told them time and again to make sure that it is rectified,was left unnoticed.Someone told me that they had taken care of it.What's more,the group leader,whom i had given the cd with the presentation more than a month ago had not even had a look at it.I was already angry.In my hurry,I checked whether the slide transition had been converted into manual from automatic.In my hurry, I forgot to apply it on all slides.As i clicked on the play button,i thought all was well.But lo and behold,after the initial slide went by,i saw that the automatic thing hadn't really worked on all the slides.The girl was peresenting something else and the slides were going by at a relatively faster speed.At that very moment,i got blackouts.the result was that i got completely blinded and had to struggle to figure out which slide was playing.Thankfully,some kind hearted soul dropped by to help me and then,the last few slides went by smoothly. The girl who was presenting the whole thing looked at me like she hated me and told the audience that the slides had thankfully,caught up with her finally.Like i cared.I was just happy that the whole thing was over and went and sat down backstage.The reason why it hurt was that i had really worked on the presentation and it all came to naught because of someone's negligence.Anyway,i goofed up bigtime.The silver lining?like they say,one learns from one's mistakes and I realised that i won't depend on anyone ever when there's a project.
