The sun has come up,
It's a new day,
There are fresh rays,
Lighting up my way.
As I sit with the future ahead of me,
I cherish every moment.
I remember the times we spent together,
I remember the fights,
but I also remember the love.
I remember more than I can believe.
I know my sunshine won't last forever,
I'll be gone someday,
The sun will continue to rise,
The world will go on,
But I would be far away,
Away from it all.
I'm not afraid,
My hope doesn't fade.
