Life changes.Time has a way about things.When you think you've seen it all,bang!!!!!!!!! Life administers another shock and you are left reeling.just when you think you finally know the secret to happiness,you realise you don't.Just when you think you are in love,you change you rmind.is it so difficult to commit to anything?To commit to love,to happiness,to life?
Nobody dies a virgin.cos life f**** us all,you respond.You accuse your terrible luck.you accuse the world at large.The world seems to hate you.Nobody wants you to be happy.Or is it just you who feels that way?
"Hi.Where have you been?I think you have forgotten your old friend."
"Nah.It's you.you have changed.Not keeping in touch after college."
"You didn't make an effort either".
"You appeared busy to me."
"Yeah right.you just need an excuse to weedle out of things."
Hangs up.
We love accusing each other,don't we?It takes such great strength to accept one's mistakes and simply say sorry.Nobody wants to take the blame.Nope.
"You broke up?"
"Yes."
"Why?You were a perfect couple!"
Smirks."Yeah right."
"But why?"
"He cheated on me."
"Oh my!! Why?"
"Ask him."
"There must be something."
"We grew out of love."
"Hmm"
" Acutually we were never in love."
"Are you okay?"
"Yes."
You know that is not true.it's just the opposite.Your friend is deeply troubled and definitely nowhere near okay.Heartbreak hurts.A lot.No?
We meet after many months.Yet,all i get is a feeble hi.And then,you decide to get back inside your shell.What is wrong with you? Breathe some fresh air,for heaven's sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A single tear which gives away everthing.You don't want anyone to know you are crying and yet long for some comfort.You look around.A single tear which crept out is noticed.Someone comes by your side and puts a hand on your shoulder."Are you okay?" You nod,succumbing to sadness.Succumbing to one of life's many truths.
If you want to be truly happy,you've got to know what is sad.
