| My living nightmare.........

Hi all... I have never written a blog before in my entire life so please forgive me if you find this a little boring. So here goes!
My living nightmare is that of the nicotine kind. I started to smoke when I was around 12/13 years of age but my best mate at that time said that I wasn't a proper smoker until I inhaled! so guess?? I inhaled so that made me the proper smoker that made me into the nicotine addict that I am today aged 31!
Well back then I probably smoked between 2-5 cigarettes a day I couldn't afford it and I had to get somebody to go in to the shop to buy them for me. Now I am on between 35 - 40 cigarettes a day terrible chain smoker and nicotine addict with a sore tight chesty cough and upon having seen the doctor today after listening to my chest told me that It is that of a 60year old! WTF well I wasn't prepared for that let me tell you...
Being a complete addict in the naive that happens to somebody else mindset homecall, I had absolutely no idea that I was doing so much damage, I was sat there thinking I am just giving up... so I will see the doctor get my patches and give up... (like its going to be that easy) but I am determined to quit this living nightmare.
So here is my first blog... in a line of blogs.. probably!

You go for it! They the first 48 or so hours are the worst 'cause that's when you break the physiological addiction. After that its *only* the psychological part. But then I'm not one to talk *puff* *puff*
good luck!

i smoked a lot of cigarettes about 7 or 8 years ago. one day i got either bronchitis or laryngitis (i don't remember which) but i still wantd a cigarette. i remember thinking to myself, this is crazy. i quit cold turkey and never had another cigarette. one of the best decisions i have made. i wish you success and i know you can do it. just make the decision to quite and don't look back. the 1st month is the most difficult. after that its much easier. after a while you won't even think about them anymore
