I've got a lot of music on my mind lately. I guess I always have
music on my mind, but my play list changes as often as the weather here
in Utah. Usually it's tied to my mood. I vent through music better
than I vent vocally. You can usually tell how I feel by the music I
play. Heres a list of what's in my head and some lyrics that I
particularly like.
Wasted by Cartel ( the music on this one is
insane. I've listened to it five times already today. The lyrics are
pretty good too. It reminds me to never take anything for granted. You never know when life is going to change.)
Hey Jude off of the Across the Universe soundtrack...the whole set is awesome
Chase
This Light by Jimmy Eat World ("Confetti rainfall in a quiet streets.
The beauty is in what you make it, so get up on your feet.")
Standard Lines by Dashboard Confessional
Across the Universe off of the Across the Universe soundtrack ("Words are flying out like
endless rain into a paper cup. They slither while they pass they slip away across the universe. Pools of sorrow waves of joy
are drifting thorough my open mind possessing and caressing me")
Pictures of You by The Last Goodnight ("This is the clock upon the wall, this is the story of us all")
Hero/Heroine by Boys Like Girls
Good People by Jack Johnson ("Where'd
all the good people go? I've been changing channels. I don't see them
on the TV shows. Where'd all the good people go? We got heaps and heaps
of what we sow")
Just a Ride by Jem
The Blues by Switchfoot
Come Undone by Vanessa Carlton ("I'm a special lover sometimes, but you only touch a ghost. I'm a sycophantic courtier with an elegant repost.....
There are people in this lifetime that we should never meet, cause to be here now without you, well, my life's so incomplete.")
Brink of Disaster by Mae
Misery Business by Paramore
Vulnerable by Secondhand Serenade
Your
Call by Secondhand Serenade ("Cause every breath that you will take
when you are sitting next to me will bring life into my deepest hopes")
Heroes and Thieves by Vanessa Carlton (

More Than This by Vanessa Carlton
