Why do people need so much crap?!
I was at my friend's house tonight and she wanted to start registering online with Macy's for her wedding.
Get this... a $90 kettle to boil water in! Don't believe me??? Check this out.
She put so much stuff in her registry... how about a $199 microwave?
When they already have one.
Keep in mind... they live in a small studio apartment and aren't going anywhere for a LOOOOONG time.
I can't deal. I just smile and keep my mouth shut.
I grew up with very little... and use my money sparingly because I know what it's like to not have any.
Some people just throw their money around like it's nothing. I wonder what would happen if they lost everything... had no money... no more stuff! I guess you only really know when you lose it all and have to fend for yourself. Sometimes I wish I never had to go through that because it's made me bitter.
My friend said to me once a long time ago, "My biggest fear is to live your life. You lived in poverty."
Is that messed up to say to someone?
I dunno.
The green text is my way of being festive for St. Patrick's Day. Yay.
If you know of any leprachauns with a pot of gold... can you send them my way? Thanks!
