Revived faith in humanity, love and much more...
I've been away since last Thursday. Why? I went to see Lee Evans live. He is one of my favourite comedians ever, and I was certainly not disappointed with his performance. He was amazing and he got two standing ovations. After a good 3 hours, it finished. We left there speechless. It's like poetry in motion!

My sister once told me that, although she would like to meet celebrities she admires, in another sense she wouldn't because she feels that meeting the real person would almost ruin it for her, and they would never be able to live up to her expectations. Everyone has their off days.

Well, with that in mind, my friends and I decided to wait around anyway after to see if we could meet Lee himself, and we did. Let me tell you, he is one of the nicest celebrities I have ever come across. I mean, even I admit that after giving the audience my all for 3 hours, the last thing I would want to do is go out and see a load of fans. Not straight after, anyway. But he did, and he was friendly and down to earth. It wasn't like a sort of "Autograph, photo, fuck off.'" type of thing. He actually chatted to you and asked you how you were and did you enjoy the show and all that. He was so grateful to everyone for coming, too. I honestly don't think he knows how loved he is. Like, it's hard to explain. He was just so cool.

And that my friends is why my faith in humanity has been revived. There really are nice people still around.

Oh, and also, Lee has been married for 24 years. Since he was 20. That's so impressive. Hence my new faith in love

And much more? Ambitions. I've always fancied the idea of being a comedian. Well, to be honest, I'd love to be one, but I usually keep that to myself. After seeing Lee live, though, I'm definately heading in that direction. Definately. I know it's a difficult business to survive in, but I don't care. I will. From my blogs I probably seem like one of the least entertaining people alive, but nobody is on top of their game all the time, are they?
