First off, Happy Halloween to all!!! I haven't decided if I want to buy candy for kids tonight or not. Our front porch has a couch and a chair on it...not the nicest looking house you want your kids getting candy from. I know that sounds weird to say, but being in the middle of a remodel means the outside doesn't always look so awesome and if it were me, I'd skip the house with the furniture on the front porch. Is it just me?
Anyways...yesterday I didn't get to dance with my creativity. I had to go to Mom and Dad's the entire afternoon to clean my car. I got home just in time to pick Keith up from work. I try to stay off the computer when he's home...he sometimes feels that if I'm on it the entire time he's home, I am more interested in what's online than spending time with him. That's not true at all, but I know how he feels. We have an agreement that when football is on, I can be on the net because he's glued to the boob tube. I am hoping that I get to do some creative writing or planning today or this weekend.
Today is rather a busy day too. Granted, we have 2 cars, but my Dad was working on mine the past few weeks, so when I want to Mom and Dad's to clean it, I had to leave the jeep there, meaning we still only have one car to use. When Keith brings my car home at 10, I have to run out of town to pay a ticket for him. A while back, he got a littering flaming material ticket which puts us $145 in the hole. He was on his way home with a friend who doesn't smoke, so when the friend got pulled over for a license plate issue, Keith tossed his cig out the window. He said he didn't know you could get a ticket for littering, but in Nebraska, you sure can. Annoying.
After getting the ticket paid, I need to come home to cook something for lunch. Keith is hoping to be off by noon today, so I hope to be back in time to get lunch done and pick him up.
We have our very first ultrasound today. Hopefully we can find out what we are having. Keith and I both are hoping for a little boy, so if we have a girl, she has an older brother to look up to. I know, it's a bit cliche, but we both want it. Secretly, I want a girl. But, what woman doesn't? I'll just be happy with a healthy baby, no matter what sex.
As for names, we don't really want everyone to know, but we've been telling everyone our ideas. We don't really have anything for a girl picked out yet, but we both like Wyatt. My Mom said she thinks of Wyatt Earp everytime I say that, but I like it. Wyatt James maybe? I don't know yet. We've been playing with Wyatt since the very beginning and I still like it which must be a good sign.
One thing that is neat is that this ultrasound might include a 3D one. The doctor told us about it when we had our first appointment, but when the nurse set up the ultrasound, she didn't say anything about the 3D one, so I didn't think we were going to get it. Keith said he talked to a few guys at work who told them the 2D and 3D ultrasounds are done at the same time, we just need to say we want it done. We'll see. I am dreading having to drink 64oz. of water in an hour. I am not ready to hold my pee that long. LOL!
Okay, so I need to get my tush in gear. I usually don't do dishes and stuff until after lunch, but with having a busy day ahead of me, I think I best get on the ball this morning.
