Hood Rich

I had never heard of being hood rich until I met Keith. According to him, hood rich means when you have a whole lot of money at one time you know you won't be able to spend. I got paid my first full pay check today, plus Keith got his worker's comp check back, so at one point we had like $1000. Money we haven't had in a long time. As I was at work, Keith had to pay bills so there got rid of like $400, but it was nice to know we could pay bills off all at once instead of small bits and pieces at a time. We still have some money in the bank and Keith is supposed to get a mileage check in the beginning of next week. It looks like money might be looking up for us for a while. It feels nice.

So I think I may have freaked Keith out a bit. The other night I got up with Jade around 1 or so and ended up falling asleep on the couch. This has happened a few times in the past few weeks. Keith woke up with her around 5 and I guess was pretty worried I was preparing to leave him. He said he doesn't like finding me on the couch in the middle of the night or waking up in the morning with Jade to find I'm not there. He said he knows we've been having problems and it scares him to think I might actually leave some day. I told him I'm just not happy with some of the things he does and how our relationship is. I told him I feel like we just co-habitate or live together, but aren't really a couple anymore. We don't do anything together really and he always seems to be complaining about how I don't want to party any more. I've told him, I can't help it right now. I've got a lot on my plate, plus alcohol just doesn't sound good. I also made the point that I feel like I'm trying to do everything at once without any help. He helps out a bit more now, but I feel like I have to keep reminding him or else he won't do anything.

He said we should start working on things like that. He said he was sorry for complaining about the partying or acting young for the most part since we haven't really had the money plus he knows I'm dealing with a lot right now.

First, my incision from my c-section is still slightly leaking which isn't good, but we can't pack it as the hole is too small. I'm hoping it will close soon. Also, and this is kind of a woman thing, but I had an abnormal pap smear which came back to show I have HPV. I have a meeting with a specialist on Tuesday and then a 2nd opinion on Wednesday. It's really freaky because it can lead to nothing, but it can also lead to cervical cancer. My boss is the one who told me she really wanted me to get a 2nd opinion. She said some small time doctors freak out and don't really help you while she has been seeing a specialist for cervical cancer for the past year who finally got her a treatment to help her as her regular doctor was just giving her iron pills for her enemia and telling her there was nothing that could be done.

So, life is just being kind of tough right now. Oh yes, and as of yesterday I have a horrible toothache. I really need to get to a dentist.

One of the best things going on right now is raising Jade. She is awesome and happy almost all the time. Plus, she's been rolling over all the time now. I just can't believe how amazing she is and how happy she makes me.

Welp, I've been up for a while. I should try to get some more sleep. Happy 4th Everyone!!!
