I too hate losing contact with a friend, for whatever reason...even if there isn't one. Maybe, in time, he'll contact you and explain he worked for the CIA and had to rush off. Or maybe not...just a thought. You sound kind of like my Mom too about when I had to go to college. I came home more...

I'm happy to hear Jude is home, safe and sound with you. I was a bit worried things at the vet clinic weren't going well, especially after the blog you posted the other day. I think, if it were me, I'd contact the BBB or someone to let them know how they treated you and the way your pet came back...
