I recommend you start dreaming of horse race results. Seriously. How will you know what this gift you have is capable of achieving without dedicating yourself to studying it? You can't be burdened like the rest of us, caught up in the daily grind to support ourselves. You need a way to legally secure enough cash to live off of without taking too much of your time. Dream about lottery numbers and horse races. You don't have to be greedy - - you can give some of your winnings to worthy causes of your choosing.
Do something concrete! Don't let this gift go to waste by merely blogging about it...

Aww, thank you luci, you are always so nice to me. This one goes back a bit; I was working my way through some issues back then. This was when I had just been kicked off of Thoughts, and was feeling a little pre-judged at the time. Felt like I had to go heavy on the symbolism to be on the safe side. This whole "being in heaven" series was very therapeutic to me.

check this out luci - - I was browsing the news section ... in "Oddly Enough", there is more "green porn" ... about flowers that trick male wasps into pollinating them by smelling/looking like female wasps. The insect version of the Real Doll, it sounds like.
At least these wasps can do it more than once. But for some, they can't help themselves, and they expend their last bit of energy, hanging 'round the orchids.
Funny timing, given your post. Look up "sexy orchids" if you want more details.
OK; that's more about insect sex than I had ever anticipated giving any thought too. Moving on ...

luci - - green porn, lol....and one shot is right. Or, at least, one job. If you're a male bee, you don't so much as lift a wing to do anything but eat your whole short life...you have one real job to do, and that's to rock the queens world. I didn't know they only did that once?!
I'm pretty sure they aren't even issued stingers! Stinging is hard work, and all hard work is done by the females. So unlike us humans, eh? :)

thanks pita. it may have something to do with alcohol being sold at the ballpark, but I for one would NEVER start a movement to have that taken away. It's not all teams, after all, it's just when the Yanks come to town. Or when we go there, presumably. No need for it...

I'm with you 99% on this one Pita - - the celebrity stuff in particular baffles me to no end.
The one piece you listed that caught my attention was GTA 4 ... I know, it's a video game, therefore trite entertainment and not to be mistaken for news. Right? However, think about what they achieved: $500M, in one weekend, in this economy ... could the economy be tanking as bad as the normal media coverage wants us to think, if 10 million people just ran out and blew $50 or whatever on a game?
So, maybe that one is news-worthy ... has there ever been a movie that had an opening weekend like GTA 4? That's a pretty impressive accomplishment, and like I said I tend to think we're not on the brink of depression when I hear news like that...

Hey nutshell - - I once had a girlfriend that was convinced if we didn't fight once in a while, it meant we didn't care. The passion of a heated argument had a direct connection to the overall passion in the relationship. Drove me nuts. To her, starting an argument was like fertilizing the lawn. She really felt the relationship would die without it.
She turned out to be half right...

I say if you want to write about yuor life on here, do it, and without feeling an obligation to explain everything to every detractor. On the other hand, readers can't be expected to go back to square one and get fully caught up on the saga. If we see a passage that stirs us to comment, we will. If you own the passage, you can take it from there - respond, ignore, delete.
If you feel good about yourself and your actions, that should be enough for you. Certainly don't need our approval. Right?

You are most definitely a cool group - - did you ever hear the song by the Rolling Stones, "Shine a Light"? The chorus goes:
"May the good Lord shine a light on you
And make every song your favourite tune"
But the very first line in the song goes:
"I saw you stretched out in Room 1009, a smile on your face and a tear right in your eye..."
Sounds to me like the Stones were talking about you guys; the fun times, the hard work ... keep it up, and enjoy the rest of your school year!
