Going for the record on 2008-04-30 10:33:20 |

I like my dentist, but let's face it, it's never a good time when they get out those pointy metal instruments. It helps me to imagine the whole thing is an interrogation, and I am an 'unbreakable' prisoner. Gives me something to think about during the most unpleasant parts, at least.

Do you have a charity you like - - maybe a local zoo, a shelter for women/kids - - you could ask them to contribute to some deserving organization from a list of your choosing, in the amount they planned to spend on you. That way many people could benefit from your birthday! Also, then the pressure is off of you, trying to come up with an answer to what you want ...

hi lucky - - another lucky friend pointed me in your direction ... I thnk we should all get out there and live, as Hollis suggests. Learn to trust our instincts, and listen to our conscience.
I think you'll find the joys far outweigh the disappointments in life. Without one, it would be hard to appreciate the other...

thanks luci, and I agree about keeping the site fun. You've done your share, provided many an LOL, too many LMAO' to count, even one really loud ROTFLMFAO (quite embarrassing actually, only because I was literally on the floor with concerned people all around me. Never do that again without a warning, please!)
bullseye, I only picked up on what you started ... so, back at ya! thanks for stopping by.

Good post, bullseye. Maybe better to go with the flow than fight the tides, though, I think. People come, people go. That's not gonna change.

Vladimir Putin's upgrade on 2008-04-18 10:04:10 |

Pita, I never stopped to consider the practicality. Hmm, I may need to reconsider... hey wait a minute, today's younger models come completely trained already don't they? Oral sex is the same as kissing, girls make out with girls for fun, and a 'brazilian' is no longer just a person from South America. What other training is there? I know how to work a vaccuum, load a dishwasher, and drive to McDonalds myself...

Shoot! I left 'HFFP' out of the title - - thanks for the reminder.
Hi Luci - - hey, you better slow down or one of these days you could find your A has been completely LOed. That could make life difficult - - for starters, how would you even sit down?

stephy - - if those fat campus squirrels have hairless pink tails, you have every right to be a little scared. And I definitely wouldn't recommend feeding them! :)
Welcome to Thoughts ...

Thanks all of you, for stopping by and saying these nice things. Though you must have missed the part where I said I'm still the same ass I always was ... :)
I'm glad for the chance to give Wayne the spotlight he's earned. Thanks again, all ...

A Bald Man's Haircut on 2008-04-09 10:46:34 |

I'm picturing my father in law; he varies between being clean-bald and fuzzy bald, depending on how formal (or informal) the event is that brings us together. You're right, it is funny.
What's not funny is failing to notice when my wife gets 4 inches trimmed, and highlights touched up. My job is to notice before she brings it to my attention, and then tell her how nice it looks while she tells me how much she hates it and is never going back to that salon again. Like clockwork. Same salon for as long as I've known her... :)
