I came across an interesting post in the Spiritual section of the forums, written by 03cammd79, about psychic dreams. Led me to his blogs about precognitive dreaming. Good reading. I just got the sense that he was aiming too low, if all he intended to do was to try to convince skeptics he has this gift. So I gave camm the following advice. Decided to re-post here because, let's face it, nobody's in there reading the Spiritual blogs, lol. :)
This whole thing might sound tongue-in-cheek, but it's what I would really do if I were camm.
My opening is geared towards the first piece of advice camm got, which came from the ever good-intentioned scotslad60. Nice guy, but boy, did he miss the mark on this one. And so we begin, with .....
camm, thank goodness there are some of us around here capable of playing the role of the voice of reason. Don't go turn yourself in, just to become some pin cushion so some shmuck can get rich writing a book about his research on you.
You need to take action. Stop letting this gift go to waste by merely blogging about it. That's only going to lead to people asking you for something. "When am I going to die?", "Where is my lost puppy?", "Is China really going to pull off hosting the Olympics this summer?"
You don't need that any of that.
I recommend, instead, you start dreaming of horse race results. Seriously. You can't be burdened like the rest of us, caught up in the daily grind to support ourselves. You need a way to legally secure enough cash to live off of without taking too much of your time.
How will you know what you are capable of achieving with this gift, without dedicating yourself to studying it properly? I mean,
you should study it - - it's going on in
your head. You don't need others to hold up index cards and ask you to guess what's on the other side. What a waste of time!
Dream about lottery numbers and horse races. You don't have to be greedy - - you can always give any amount of your winnings to whatever you consider a worthy cause. I won't even make the tired joke that I'm a worthy cause. I mean it.
You can do something others can't, and that's with hardly any practice. Imagine the potential.
I should have asked first, but you're not evil, by nature, are you? I didn't pick up on that from your writing, but I realize I am taking a chance here. If it turns out you use this power for evil purposes, my bad. I apologize to the rest of the world for unleashing you. Just remember, whatever you choose to do, will always come back on you one way or another ... so, take the "good" route through life, ok?
