 September 22nd, my 21st birthday
Okay, so today wasn't what i expected, but it played out nicely. I woke up this morning so depressed about not being able to do anything for my birthday, and actually it sucked, but not all the way. My day was rittled by spending 45 minutes at the department of human services, to walk back out empty handed. Which angered me, but in trying to keep my patience, I walked out and put everything in God's hands. I came home, to my parents leaving back out, which left me at home alone, in tears because i didn't understand where my husband was on this was the lonliest birthday every. My neighbor, who was schedualed to work today, somehow got off work and took me to Oakland mall. And boy was I suprised. See, it didn't matter that I didn't have any money, just that I was able to go. She took me to Kerby's Coney Island, which I absolutely love, and then we rode around aimlessly for a few hours. I was out of the house, it felt great. I came home to fried catfish, coleslaw, and dutch apple pie, the exact dinner I had begged my mommy for for the past two days. When my husband finnaly got home, I was angry with him still, but could barely express it due to spending all the time he was gone scarfing down apple pie.

But the suprise came and mid-night when I checked my bridge card to see nothing was there. I wanted to cry all over again, but I knew something had to be wrong. God would not leave me hanging in the raptures....And sure enough, when I called about 5 minutes ago, everything that was suppose to be there was there. I can feed my family and don't have to worry about begging people for their food anymore. This is my money, and I can feed my baby. no more noodles, no more cereal for dinner. I am so excited over something so small its crazy. It's like 4am, and I swear if I had a car, I would be at the grocery store right now. lol. So, my birthday didn't end in horror. R.I.P. granny, thanks for looking out for me today!  Plus now I can barbeque Saturday for my b-day, and I'm having a birthday party at this night longue downtown. Now just to find a banggin' outfit....21 ROCKS!!!!
