Come now Halloween Christmas & Easter are not pagan festivals they have incorporated pagan icons/deities but they are the same 3 festivals in every culture including Judaism. Planting, Harvest, and Mid winter are very important to any agrarian society. The commercialism of these holidays is disgusting from a Christian point of view but a harvest festival has always been commercial so I guess the multinational candy corporations can have it along with Valentine's Day. Christmas has been a celebration of the day's getting longer, & Easter a hey we made it through another winter lets try for the next. The significance of these In Christianity comes from the events in his life: and our reflection on his birth as the gift of redemption stands free of the pagan avatar Santa which delights children, Easter allows us to contemplate sacrifice for future reward & admire the sacrifice of one life for the redemption of many souls.

The story of the Easter bunny that I heard was that the Bunny represents Saint Peter and the eggs are the gift of rebirth reminicent of the phoenix which was an early symbol for Christ.

The practice you describe is condemned. Corruption of the Biblical Feasts of the Lord with pagan traditions is forbidden. Light hath no fellowship with darkness. If we are truly obedient to what is written, we can not keep company with people who worship the creation, more than the Creator. I raised my children to know about Halloween and the meaning of it , what it symbolized i did not take them out on that evening , today they choose to take out my grandchildren and as a parent i respect them on there choice, they were never angry with me for this choice i made for them as children, As for christmas and Easter we celebrated but i taught them the true meaning , my brother would give his daughter 3 presents at christmas as he taught her the 3 wisemen gave Jesus 3 gifts on his birth,although this is not her birth but Jesus birth we celebrate and our focus is on him on this day ,and not what we are recieving of the world , i understand everything you are saying on this subject and respect what and why you are telling everyone,its very hard now days.And the diff between YHWH and satan is most important !new age?
