Good post George. My only disagreement with what she says is with her distinction between Islam and Shariah. Shariah is an Islamic legal system and all Muslims are required to support it. Drawing the distinction, which she does, creates a false impression, one which many people in authority wish to make, that there are extreme or radical Muslims and there are moderate Muslims. The dicotomy is false and, in my view, dangerous.

I know Nonie Darwish, I filmed her in Denver in 2006. I spoke with her after the event. Watch the other video that I posted. She's not making a distinction between Islam and Sharia law. When Islam is in a position of relative weakness, it talks peace and coexistence. When in a position of strength, Islam dictates hardcore Sharia law. In this video, the context is Islam in no position to dictate Sharia law. Dig into the Qu'ran a little bit. I have for the past 6 years. Muslims can lie and misrepresent their beliefs to gain advantage. As far as all Muslims being required to support Sharia law, it depends on who's swinging the biggest scimitar. There has never been a Sultan, Imam, Ayatolla, or whatever that could trust his own blood relatives. They live by the sword, hoping to die by it, in Jihad.

Regardless, individuals operating on law has no regrads for an individual. Measuring the meterics unable to understand the dynamtics of a person ability to attain, acquire and hold knowledge.
