 Hi! This is my first blog. You know what the big fuss is all about this summer? It's about the Beijing Olympics!!! In this blog, i will tell you about the venues and the Mascots. If you want to know more please click here.
First let's start with the venues. The Natonal stadiums will play host to all Athletics events and The national Aquatics centres will hold the swimming event. The basket ball will be in another stadium and the gymnastics will be held in the Indoor stadium. The Laoshan velodrome wll hold the cycling evens and The tennis will be held in the olympic green tenns court.
Next, we have the mascots. There are five mascots and they are called the Fuwa; The Fuwa consist of these:
- Beibei, The fish. She likes Water Sports
- Jingjing, The Panda. He likes the sports which invovle Weightlifting or Judo
- Huanhuan, The Flame. He likes ball sports.
- Yingying, my favourite Fuwa, The Tibetan Antelope. He likes Athletics.
- Nini, The Swallow. She likes gymnastics
