A lot of racism is learned at home, children growing up and hearing their parents say bad things about other races and use racist terms to describe people. More comes from hate-speak by groups like the American Nazi Party or the Ku Klux Klan that preach racial superiority; and from people like Louis Fahrakand and Jesse Jackson that tell blacks that they are never allowed to get an education or have good jobs. (posted in Racism Caused by History! (?))
Obama is too elitist for me. He says poor people "cling" to their religion out of frustration, while he went to the same church for twenty years out of devotion (but never heard the anti-American crap the preacher was spewing). He says we Americans embarrass our country when we travel over seas because we never learn any foreign languages. Obama and his wife speak french. He says that illegal immigrants should not be forced to learn english, but all Americans should learn spanish so we can communicate with them and understand them better. His wife has said that she is not glad to be American or proud of her country. I don't like McCain much either, but he seems more like a normal person and I'll vote for him over Obama. Political Truth: say whatever you want to get elected, do whatever you want once you're in. Your PR people will take care of the explanations. Relationships: I don't think you can describe love, but you know it when you feel it. (posted in The Truth)
