| GAAAAAAAAAMEFLYYY!+Ghost Master |
I noticed I have been doing a bunch of combo posts. That's weird. On to content!
I think my Gamefly account is acting on random whim now. For those who don't know, Gamefly is an AWESOME online game renting service. You pay a monthly fee to rent up to 4 games at one time (with upgrades). However, it is being strange: the Gamefly Que I have skipped TEN GAMES, most with medium-High avalibility, and it STILL skipped them to find a game!
After that little rant, I found a game wich I had not played in a long time: Ghost Master. This is an INCREDIBLY fun game, and it takes a fair deal of strategy to play effectively. There are 40 ghosts to choose, from the agile but weak Sprites to the mighty but expensive Terrors. There are 14 scenarios and 9 areas (or 11 if you count extensions). The areas are the Sorority, the Calamityville home (and they bought a house with THAT name!?), the Frat House, the Cabin (and an extension), Hell Street Precinct (At least that one makes more sense: "Ah S*** man, they gonna take me to Hell street!), the Cruiseliner, the Hospital (Once again, it has extention), the Hollow (with exactly ONE amish family), and the Military base. Now, not every ghost is avaliable from the start. Many are in scenarios, and you need to formulate an escape plan, like KOing a bully, setting a room on fire, starting a localized earthquake or zapping a pinball table.
Most scenarios consist of "Scare EVERYONE!!!", but some need a little strategy, like the strategy needed to uncover the Darkling each time. Others consist of little strategy save the Trapped ghosts.
My opinion: Find this game and play it. So long as you don't have Vista.
