 Blast Corps for N64
Oh, boy. This is a REALLY fun game. I put this in the same bucket asĀ  the Destroy All Humans series, Carmageddon, the Red Faction series and games like that in terms of "Run around with goal-oriented destruction".

So, what's the plot? Well, apparrently a division of military-grade vehicle R&D didn't like their jobs, and when one of the crew was fired for an on-the-job injury wich caused the rest to go on strike.

Jump back to modern game time, two unstable nukes are barrelling towards ground zero on the most direct route possible. the path includes: NO REGARD FOR BUILDINGS. So, what does Blast Corps have to do? Go destroy the obstructive buildings that could cause Nuclear Winter! Why can't you operate the truck, make it a normal racing game? Well, int's a leaky kind of unstable. \

Well, what weapons do you have? You have a bulldozer, wich rams stuff, a Dumptruck, the most common and hard to use weapon (You have to spin and hit it with the small sweet spot on the back to do damage), the ballista, a rocket-armed motorcycle, the sideswipe, a side-ramming... side-ramming vechicle, and three robots: J-Bomb, a robot wich flies up and bombs down, a skinnier yellow one wich does death acrobatics, and Thunderfist the Robo-Ryu.

There are also a few non-combat vehicles- the American Dream, a car with an american flag pattern on the hood, a Muscle Car, a Police Car, and apparrently a van.

You also have to find scientists to unlock the final level: a shuttle chrashing to Earth, and you have to destroy the town at teh impact zone.

Speaking of destruction, after every Carrier escort, you can return to the level to collect RUDs, destroy buildings and find survivors (What is this- Nuclear Winter Imminent or Zombie Invasion?) to get a gold on the level.

Once you get GOLD on all stages, what's next? PLATINUM on all stages! Yeah, next is Time attack mode. You have to get the Carrier to the Goal before time runs out. Either that, or clear the path and get to da truck.

If you'll excuse me, I must enjoy this game.

Yeah, I now. I'm waiting for either Virtual Console/Xbox Live Arcade (since the Banjo-Kazooie games went Xbox live arcade, it's probably that...) Blast Corps, or a sequel on Xbox 360 (once again, see Banjo-Kazooie:Nuts & Bolts).
