Intro

well, i want to get a series- whether by myself or with many- as to where we think BEYOND what we beilive, whether we it is religon or human traits- where we take a LOOK outside of our box (yes, opened minded people have boxes too, just bigger ones) and we see the world through different eyes

Religion

Is it wrong to think outside the box when you- or at least assume- a certain religion? Now, back in the oooooollllddd days if you have done such a thing- you were a heretic, a spawn of the devil. But as time went on, so loose did these laws go that we have our modern day society, though we have many beilefs. Though, how did it all began? Was it a desperate- yet sucessful reach for hope? Was it an actual miracle that has taken place? Have we, the followers, misunderstood the messange sent by a greater being? Or is it a possible ploy to keep Earth in order...? I will be listing my thoughts on each of this-

-Desperate Reach-
The tale of hoping you don't just "die"

it is a saddening thought- that once you are gone, you are truely gone. You might be remebered for a few years, but eventually everything you are- your memories, thoughts, things you did- will die out just like you. Sure, you could become famous -perhaps like Ceaser or Wiliam Shakespeare- but no matter what, no matter how hard you try- memroies and thoughts die out, maybe not compelelty but a majority.  As some people give themselves a false sense of secuirty to feel better, or an illusion of joy so they aren't in a melechony state all the time- the ideal of God and a heaven, a paradise, seemed ideal. Of course, there would have to be restrictions- for then the paradise wouldn't seem "real" enough- it would just be an idea, these people wanted more then a illusion of joy- they wanted the Ideal of Pureness, joy, happiness- Compeletion

-Actual Miracles-
Whether it be a Virigin Mary or the angel Gaberial

We may make up our society, but who is the final decider into saying we are the ONLY ones who have gotten us this far. If you are always in an enclosed envirmoment and don't want to open up to different posibilites- you will probably look at this paragraph and either 1) skip it or 2) laugh. It is- as a long time ago- comparable to space, while space is eaiser to comprhend and get to- at one point it was mysterious and out of reach. We- with technology- were able to figure it out. But, there is always the posibility that- whatever you may folow, whether it be Islam, Judiasm, etc etc- that there is an uppder being. Just so many factors and undeals- while maybe having a 'strong' theory behind it- are just theories. As many kids have played God with ants, it is possible someone- or something- is actually playing God with us.

-Fatal Misunderstanding-
From the text to the ideals

it will be harder for me to elaborate on this one- so let me start off with an anoloagy. I give you a book of a different language- one you (while 9 others) are familar with, but nowhere good enough with it where you can translate it, but you try anyways. At the end of the results, you MIGHT get similar results- but normally different. What if we HAVE gotten a message from a great being- but just misunderstood it? It is quit possible, and for all we know - though a far stretch- what archives we have of those 'golden' days could all be a lie, which brings me to...

-Cleaver but Crafty Ploy-
To stop the hate and death

An interesting point a friend brought up one day to me was this-with religion, we have many moral men and women, standards, etc etc. Without religion, there would be no need to be good- many a men and women would turn from their secure households to a freedom of chaos. With religion- we are told of a paradise, anything we want etc etc- BUT ON THE CATCH if we stay moral, good, kind, pure. With this, i am sure many of people have stayed this way- sure many have changed, but without religion i COULD see a world full of much more chaos. While yes religion DOES cause chaos itself- i think it is also a way to control a larger form of it. And, with religion, those high priests and church members DID live a good life...."donate to the church, and all sins will be forgiven!"



Think what you must, but I, a Thinker, not of what music to wear or what goes great with those jeans- but of the facts and matters which- no matter HOW HARD YOU TRY- will never get a great majoirty to agree on. I am thinking, not as the sculpalted citizen i have become- but as a ever-flowing philospher and thinker.
