Jack is one of our pet kids and is the light of our eyes.I did'nt want another dog at the time because we already had lost our precious little Maxi to the busy street we were living at the time. We would have to them chained up since not having a fence only long enough to potty and get a little fresh air and sunshine. At that time we had Hunter a beautiful, passive, gentle loving dog. He was afraid of the traffic therefore he would'nt even go near the street if he got loose. Anyway Jack became ours on a very rainey eve Oct. 7 yrs.ago. Since then we have a hose w/ fencing. He was given to my dads cousin by a lady that found him which no one alamed after an ad was put out. Dads cousin was moving whre no pets were allowed. she waited to the last miute to to try to find a home for him no luck so he was going to the pound that. G to the rescue thinking I would see if my niece wanted him. When I picked up the shaggy (she never groomed him)litltle booger with the tiny little pug nose him laying his head on my shoulder we fell in love. Did'nt know if Larry may not want him, no matter I would have kept him anyway. But smack they bonded instantley too.He lost his eye because he ende up ruling the house. He also has a Napolean complex lke most small dogs.He and Hunter were great pals but Jack would jump all over him if he thoght his buudy was getting more treats. Hunter did not hurt him on purpose. But some how his eye got badly hurt duringt he onesided scuffle. One thing after another went on so it ended up having to be removed .Hunter has since passed due to old age.It is always so painful to lose one of your pets. To get back to the main issue is now Jack has arthritis prety bad in his hips. Its getting pretty rough on him.I for one will not have him put down unless something comes up and there is no other options. He still has an energetic mind &body its just his legs play out He's not a canidate for surgery becuse he can't have anathesia. He stopped breathing during his xrays for this problem they reealy thougt he would'nt come out of it.Another prayer was answered. He takes meds but are'nt helping much. The real reason for this blog does anyone know off hand of agood website to go to for animal prosthetics? I looked t one or 2 but was'nt informative and no pricelisting. I can only sit at the pc for so long because of my back problem so I am going to have to lay down for awhile before getting back on it again. Was hoping someone outhere might have already been thru this and can recomend good company to use. If anyone reads this hope it was'nt to boring
