The Sad Truth - America's job snobbish - Our Roots
All of us were never born rich. It may be different for the latter generation. Your richness must have come some where. Look at yourself, if it wasn’t for your parents’ parent, etc. life will not lead you to where you are now. All things have its roots, especially wealth. This country was built on hard work and pride. Before the all these Booms (Glided Age, Progressive Era, Roaring twenties, Affluent Society of 1945-1970, Technology Boom, Real Estate Boom, etc.) we owe to our roots from our ancestors from the Pre –Colonial Era and Colonial Era. Before our Job snobbish attitude, they stuck together. There were no job that’s demeaning to them they just did what they did to put food on the table or keep a roof over their head. These people worked not only an 8 hour day; they also took pride in their work. They knew their work meant something, it was important; no job was not good enough for them. Unfortunately our root has been lost. We forgot who and where we really came from.
