 Can you BELIEVE it?!

Okay, I read this article online about a new toy that is suppose to hit stores this May, and I think it is ridiculous! Teddy Bear Co. is coming out with talking Jesus, Moses and Mary dolls...well action figures! Ridiculous! I'm sorry but I just think its so disrespectful, I mean its not like its a cute little stuffed lamb that when you press a button it says the night time prayer. No, these are 'action figures' meant to spread good 'faith'. But what young child is going to view such toys with respect? ludacris. I dont know if I am the only one that feels this way, but I was shocked. It made me sad and sick inside....and it really pissed me off. I dont mean to offened anyone who agrees with these toys, but I seriously needed to vent ><

Well, actually some company put out a Jesus "action figure" a few years ago. It didn't do anything. I think companies just do this sort of thing to bring attention to themselves!

hey, hate to post this in your comment. I don't know how to send messasges, I play on an acoustic guitar and I want it to be soft and melodic and full of meaning. At the bridge the chords become heavier and I want the words to follow. I just have no idea how to incorporate words into the music

oh no problem, all you have to do is click on the profile and click the link that says to email user. :)
Any way how about brainstorming powerful and meaningful words that could get the creative juices flowing...breath, love, break, soul, dark, heart, true....something like that. Good luck!

I don't know anything about this Biblical toys issue. I think it's a good thing. There are so many toys out there that don't really do anything for children. Maybe these kids who play with these toys will have some respect for religion when they grow up.

Thanks for commenting on my blog.

Its just another one of Big Businesses attempts at reeling in the large Christian middle class to they're consumer base. It makes me sick too. Do you think its a coincadence that these dolls are coming out right in time for CHRISTmas?

Yeah, thats how I saw it as well. I wish I could believe they will be used with respect, but younger kids these days....I just dont see it.
