OK SO I MIGHT BE NEW AT THIS BLOG STUFF BUT IT SEEM A LITTLE STRANGE TO ME THAT ANYONE WOULD CARE TO KNOW OR READ SOME OF THE THINGS PEOPLE ARE POSTING. I AM ALSO NOT SURE WHY ANY ONE WOULD TREAT THIS PAGE AS A DEAR DIARY... OR THAT ANY ONE CARES THAT YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING A NEW CAR OR THAT YOU HAVE A REALLLLLY BAD HANG-OVER: NOTE THE 5 L'S FOR A VERY JUVINAL EMPISIS. IF THIS IS WHAT IS ON THE MIND OF A TYPICAL AMERICAN THEN NO WONDER OUR COUNTRY IS IN THE STATE THAT IT IS. WE CARE MORE ABOUT BUYING A SWEATER FOR OUR DOG OR GETTING THE HOT NEW SOUND SYSTEM. THEN WHAT REALLY MATTERS. THE PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY ARE UNDER THE MISTAKEN ASSUMPTION THAT WE ARE IN CONTROL OF OUR LIVES WE DIET AND BINGE AND AS FIBLE ATEMPT TO SHOW HOW INCONTROLE WE ARE, AS WE DOWN WELLBUTRIN AND BENZOS LIKE THEIR CANDY BECAUSE WE WOULD RATHER HAVE THE QUICK FIX THEN HAVE TO ACTUALY FACE THE FACT THAT WE ARE SCREWED UP AND IT MOST LIKELY NOBODYS FAULT BUT OUR OWN. THE ACTIONS THAT WE TAKE AS A RESPONCE TO WHAT IS HAPPINING AROUND US IS THE ONLY THING THAT DEFINES US. IT NOT ABOUT WHOS CHILD IS A HONORSTUDENT AT WHAT SCHOOL BUT WHOS CHILD WILL GROW UP TO BE AN HONORABLE MAN. IT NOT ABOUT THE CAR YOU DRIVE BUT HOW TREAT YOU FELLOW COMUTERS WHEN YOU ARE IN TRAFFIC. ITS NOT ABOUT YOU AND WHAT OTHER CAN DO FOR YOU. IT ABOUT HOW EVERY THING YOU DO HAS AN EFFECT ON THOSE AROUND YOU AND IF YOU ARE TO CAUGHT UP IN YOUR OWN TRIVIAL CRAP THEN YOU ARE REALLY MISSING WHAT LIFE IS REALLLLLLY ABOUT.

Maybe life really is about the trivial crap and the day to day. Maybe what'm important is to enjoy the now ... maybe that's what "life is realllllly about" and maybe if you stop analyzing how other people miss what life is realllly about you could appreciate it a bit more.
Yes... a little confrontation coming from a girl with a blog about drinking, but I felt it had to be said.

i agree 100% that we (not only americans but all human beings) have a responsibility to each other, our planet and our future generations. however, each individual is in their own place and time, and not everyone is ready to see this yet. forthoughts… you are able to do much more good for others by understanding that a persons hangover is what is real in their world at the moment. it is not as trivial as you think it is… not for them anyway. they must go through this stage in order to be ready for the next. its just my opinion. also, you might want to try typing in all lowercase as opposed to ALL CAPS. it is much easier to read.

Waaaaaaaa! Waaaaaaaa! Waaaaaaaaaaaaa! Live your life then and stop worrying and wasting your efforts on everyone around you. My life is mine to live how i choose and i will write whatever i please on this site becaause i can. It may be unimportant to you or small and trivial but i like to do it so thank you very much. Glad to see your settled in already.

thanks for the responces but i must say for all for you that think your new cars and hang overs really mean something you then you life is being wasted. life is about how you live it and if you spend you days fretting about this things then you are missing the true beauty . besides i would hope that some of you are deeper then that...guess not!

Forthoughts: Jason is right on. Life is a growing process and we start out in the self and through time our vision expands outward. Takes time to mature and obtain wisdom. For some it takes less time and for others more. Those with the broader vision can lead by example. I recall the expression: "Actions speaks louder than words." Your vision is moving away from self and that is something to hold on to. Hugzzzzzzzz.

i agree that we are living in a state of disarray and our priorities seem to be out of whack. they are many reasons for the downward spiral of country is facing from political agendas, media portrayals, and lack of caring on the societys part to want to know, to want to a change for the better. in a world as large as the U.S. it is easy to feel isolated, alone. many of us just want to feel connected even if its through anonymity.
