I dont think I will ever understand love. I mean I am in love with my bf more then I ever thought I could be. Last night we had another fight. We have been together over 2 years now. And we have had our problems like every couple does. But we have always been able to work things out. Lately we have been doing really good. Talking about marriage and having a baby. Last night though he put some doubt in me. We were talking and I was just messing around with him and said hey give me your email info so i can send a pic of you to my cell so i can use it for your ID. He said your not getting my email. I was lke why what do you have in there that you dont want me to see. Then he tells me that there are letters from his ex and him that are in a folder that he doesnt want me to read. I was like okay why havent you deleted them. He said oh i just never got around to it. I was like uumm 2 years and you never got around to it? WTF. Not only that he told me when we got together that they were never actualy a couple they were just pretending to be becuase she was needing someone to protect her from one of her exs so they were just actling like they were together. See the only reason this makes any point to me is becuase they were together when I met him and I told him that I didnt want to be put as a man stealer. ... SO now it is starting to seem that he lied to me and they were more then they say they are. And now I was like okay i dont care about those just give me your info and he still wont do it. so now I am wondering what the hell does he have in there that he is hiding from me. What do you all think? Am I over reacting and just being insecure again? |

Wow Fely- I can tell you something but it mine cause a problem and I don't what you to go thru any drama but if you really need some answers from a man then I can give you the information you need but ya something wrong with this picture overeacting yes insecure no, your overeacting because you don't really need to go there, a man hate it when your claim he think's you don't care insecure no looking at your picture men will trip over them self just to talk to you.Even just being around you will make a man heart beat faster

Everyone is entitled to their small bit of privacy...especially in a relationship. He may not be hiding anything from you and that's that, but regardless of whether he is, if his email is private and personal to him, then it should stay that way. I'm sure you have private things, don't you? Perhaps this blog, I don't know, but you have to have something that you don't let anybody see or read or hear or whatever.
That being said, if you are concerned about the situation with him and you have been together for 2 years, then you probably do have something to be worried about. After spending that much time with someone people (women especially) learn to read subtle clues from the other person's face, so when you first asked him about it, you probably saw something (unconciously probably) that alarmed you and that needs to be looked at.
Again, you could be overreacting....but you know yourself best, if you are generally pretty trusting and you give people the benefit of the doubt and you aren't overly insecure or possessive, then your alarm now is probably called for.
Goodluck...that kind of stuff is never easy.
