 Hurt
I, me, sometimes.  Wonder.
Do you still read this?
Do you look everyday, to see if I have blogged?

I do.

Everyday I look to see if you blogged.
If you logged on to myspace.
If you something had changed on your facebook.

I still miss you.

I love you.

I can kinda see the picture on her facebook profile of a happy family.

I see your smile and a see a smaller version of you.
I smile because I know that little angel makes you so happy.

A few days ago, I took care of a 90year old man who was ill.   So ill in fact that he became not in his right mind.
His daughter said to me, "I am taking her home, I will be back".  I said, ok.  Thinking that the lady she was referring to was her 93 year old mother.
When the daughter returned.  I had asked if she had her mother settled.  The daughter looked at me and laughed and said, well, she's not my mother but she is an important part of my father's life.
She went on to tell me that he father had been married twice and she was the 3rd  child of his second marriage of 4 childern that he had.  She said that her father was the rough tough kinda a guy that always walked the line of being good or being in trouble.  But his heart was always kind and he was always good to his childern.  He divorced young from his first wife with two childern that didn't always keep in touch and then his second wife, her mother, died 20years ago.
She said, that her father was very depressed for along time, said he never loved her enough.  His daughter said their relationship was always rocky and she sometimes felt like they should've divorce long ago.
Then one day, her father asked her to help him get in touch with someone.  An old high school sweet heart.  His daughter said, that she had thought that she remembered this lady's name from when she was younger, a fight her father and mother had.  Her dad wanted to get in touch with her.  His daughter helped him.  Then this lady came for a visit.
His daughter said when he saw her.  His face lit up.  He all of a sudden turned 10years younger.  They started talking and could never stop.  She was older by 3yrs, but in better health.  They married and she basically took care of him.
The man's daughter told me that one day he had said to her.  I always have loved her.  We were always so far away, but she was always in my heart.  I loved my first wife, but I was young and stupid.  I loved your mother, but not enough until it was too late.  I have always loved her from when I was 16, but I messed up and let her go.
My eyes got a little wet.  The daughter went on to explain that her father had said to her that when she was a young girl, that he had run into his high school sweetheart and they spent some time together.  They wanted to be together and almost did, but he decided he needed to be a father to his children and make his marriage work. She said that is why she remembers her name from her childhood.  They were always in love.

I don't think she will never know how this story effected me.  Or how close to home it hits.
I do know that I still think about you, I still wish and think about being with you.
I love you.
